Hudak Campaign Maintains Fundraising Momentum with $95,696 in Pre-Primary Contributions

The campaign committee of Bill Hudak announced today that it has raised $95,696 in total contributions during during the shortened, summer “pre-primary” period. To date, the campaign has raised $577,192, more than any other Republican candidate running for Congress in Massachusetts. Bill Hudak also continues to outpace Congressman John Tierney in contributions from individuals.

The campaign committee of Bill Hudak, http://www.hudakforcongress.com, candidate for U.S. Congress in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District, today announced that the strong fundraising momentum achieved in the first and second quarters of 2010 continued during the shortened, summer “pre-primary” period, with $95,696 in total contributions according to the committee’s August 25 FEC Form 3 Report . This includes in-kind contributions from the candidate of $18,845. To date, the campaign has raised $577,192, more than any other Republican candidate running for Congress in Massachusetts.

Bill Hudak continues to outpace Congressman John Tierney in contributions from individuals. According to the committee’s August 25 FEC Form 3 Report, Tierney’s campaign reported $75,475 in total contributions for the period, with $62,460 from individuals and $8,000 from special interest PACs. Hudak’s lone Republican challenger, Robert McCarthy, reported total contributions of $2,188 for the period, and his remaining $1,357 cash on hand is less than the $3,277 debt owed by his campaign.
