Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (PRWEB) September 7, 2010 The New Zealand manufacturing industry is set to benefit from a new website that uses Funnelback to connect university experts and manufacturers. The new website is called the Manufacturing Knowledge Hub for Education Research and Exchange (MK HERE) http://www.mkhere.org.nz/ A key driving force behind the success of MK HERE is Associate Professor Jane Goodyer from Massey University. She said, "By providing a website facility that allows manufacturers to easily find university experts, facilities and courses, we can enhance collaboration, knowledge and technology transfer, that will increase the productivity and competitiveness of the New Zealand manufacturing sector." Mr. Stuart Beil, Executive Director of Funnelback said, "The MK HERE search pulls together the content from six New Zealand universities. This content is provided in a consistent xml format thus allowing Funnelback to provide a range of search filters such as Expert, Project, Course, Facilities and Equipment."
