Urban Fiction Author, Kevin M. Weeks, Includes Parental Advisory Statement in His Novels

Debut novel: The Street Life Series: Is It Suicide or Murder? "Always do what you always did, and you will always get what you always got." -Anonymous

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 13, 2006 -- The notorious West Philly native Teco Jackson had it on lock when it came to stealing cars. The women were captivated by his good looks and smooth touch. After being on the most dangerous high speed car chase ever, Teco knew it was time to change his life; however, crime was in his blood.

This novel searches to answer the question, if you live the street life, are you committing suicide or are you a possible victim of murder? In the novel, Teco joins the Strictly Business (SB) Crew and gets the alias Homicide from the SB Crew Boss, Bashi. Living a lavish life with money, drugs, and gorgeous women seemed promising until a major take down. When Bashi is discovered missing, it is up to Homicide and GQ, the only female and toughest member of the SB Crew, to set aside their differences and join forces to uncover the truth.

This book is a true depiction of the street life and readers will be taken aback by its old school wisdom. The quotes will keep readers on their toes, thinking about what could be said next. Many people will be surprised that at least one of the characters in the book reminds them of someone they know. Some adults will read this fascinating book for enjoyment. Other adults will find that this novel can help them to understand teenagers' fascination with urban fiction as well as use this book as a basis to establish dialogue with their children and grandchildren. To insure parents are aware that the novel contains explicit content, Author Kevin M. Weeks includes a parental advisory page.
