The Texas Courier and Logistics Association (TCLA) announced today their first membership meeting to be held in Dallas and Houston. The meeting, scheduled in Houston on November 15th and Dallas on November 16th, is open to any courier or logistics companies based in Texas.

The meeting, scheduled in Houston on November 15th and Dallas on November 16th, is open to any courier or logistics companies based in Texas.

Launched in the summer of 2006, the goal of the Texas Courier and Logistics Association is to follow in the footsteps of other state courier associations and provide insight on current legislation. In addition, the TCLA serves as an outlet for business owners to share thoughts, questions and concerns about the regulations of the courier and logistics industry.

This first meeting will allow courier and logistics company owners across Texas to come together to determine the goals and direction of this new association, vote on board members and schedule future events throughout Texas. Through the guidance of national courier and logistics associations, the new Texas association expects to become a voice for courier owners across the state in matters of current legislation.
