Wampus Multimedia Partners with MobiPocket for Electronic Publishing

U.S.-based multimedia company expands into literary distribution and promotion.

Winchester, VA (PRWEB) October 16, 2006 -- Wampus Multimedia announced it will publish electronic books ("eBooks") through the international French distributor MobiPocket. The non-exclusive agreement delivers Wampus content to some of the world's most prominent eBook retailers, including Amazon, Taylor & Francis, Adlibris, FictionWise, CyberRead, eBookMall, and eBook Impressions.

With the growth of digital book distribution, readers increasingly are enjoying eBooks in PC, Mac, Palm, Blackberry, and other formats. Wampus' eBook publishing arm seeks fiction and creative nonfiction, preferably with a tie to popular music.

'Bonneville Stories' by Mark Doyon, published in its print version by Pocol Press in 2001, becomes the first Wampus eBook early next year.

Wampus Multimedia is an independent imprint run by artists, for artists. Its credo is simple: to introduce the world to the boldest new content rendered by visionary artists. It is home to a growing roster of independent artists from a variety of genres, including pop, AAA, Americana, alternative, ambient, blues, and folk.

Wampus Multimedia releases are available at Amazon, CD Baby, Tower Records, Borders, iTunes, and other fine stores.
