Locura Media Server for PSP, PC, Mac Expands Media Features

VillainousMind, Inc. releases a major update to its media server made popular by its ability to provide remote access to digital video, photos, and music

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 17, 2006 -- VillainousMind, Inc. released a major update to its media server made popular by its ability to provide remote access to digital video, photos, and music. Version 1.20 of the Locura Personal Media Server includes many new and enhanced features including support for video and photo feeds and M3U play lists. These features allow PSP users new ways to access their media, and PC and Mac users the ability to listen to their music from anywhere they have a broadband Internet connection.

"We wanted to broaden the possibilities for our customers," says David Bishop, President of VillainousMind. "We offer an easy-to-use, visually-appealing product full of choices, whether accessing music through a PC, PSP, or Mac, downloading video, or just customizing your own look, this media server offers flexibility and ease-of-use."

The Locura Personal Media Server runs on a PC and gives users access to media files from any web browser. With the addition of the new RSS feeds and M3U play lists as well as other added features consumers now have more choices in the way they use the media server. A new randomization option for RSS feeds allows PSP users frustrated by the 100 song limit in the PSP the ability to listen to 100 fresh songs each time they access their play list. The update also includes display of embedded MP4 video titles, cleaner audio and video pages, optional file access, a new Halloween theme, more scripting support, and several other features.
