“Local Makeup Artist Beautifies Ben-Gal Cheerleaders for Swimsuit Calendar”

Professional makeup artist just one of the many that worked on the 2006-2007 NFL Cincinnati Bengals "Ben-Gal Cheerleaders" swimsuit calendar.

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) October 19, 2006 -- Chenese Bean, a professional makeup artist that brings inner beauty to life, teamed up with the NFL Cincinnati Bengals cheerleaders, “The Ben-Gals”, to assist in the production of the squad’s recently released 2006 Swimsuit Calendar. The calendar marks one of many projects for Chenese Bean Makeup Artistry thus expanding her portfolio and adding depth to her experience.

Chenese is a self-taught makeup artist with eight years experience in the industry. She created and applied makeup looks to four of the Ben-Gal cheerleaders. These looks are promoted in the calendar as individual months, including December 2006 and January 2007.

Ms. Bean was reunited with the Ben-Gals this past summer when she received a call from a hairstylist involved in the calendar shoot. With little preparation, Chenese packed her make-up kit and was ready for the shoot by 9am on a Saturday. One part of the event that Chenese enjoyed the most about the calendar shoot was “the glam.” Chenese exclaims, “It was very fun and exciting seeing the different wardrobe styles and selections that were created just for this shoot.”

Chenese and the Ben-Gals have collaborated together on similar projects in the past. Working with Cheerleader Director, Charlotte Jacobs, Chenese assisted with the 2004-2005 team photo shoot.

The most challenging part of the calendar shoot for Chenese was the location changes. Chenese explains, “Locations can change at a moments notice. From lavish homes, to an outside pool, to abandoned buildings. Depending on what needs to be captured on film, and what the client is looking for. If a location changes, then usually so does the wardrobe. A wardrobe change, in addition to hair and makeup, must be done in just a few minutes. Time is money!”

For Ms. Bean, the swimsuit calendar project also gave her the unique opportunity to work with photographer, Jim Stouffer, whose work she has admired for years. In addition to this project, nationally recognized clients including L’Oreal Cosmetics, MAC Cosmetics, Ebony Magazine, People Magazine and the Cincinnati Enquirer have utilized Chenese’s talent for makeup artistry. She has also had the privilege of working with Virgin Records recording artist “Sharissa”; Verity Records “Kelly Price”; Sony Music recording group “Jagged Edge”; and gospel legends “Dorinda-Clark-Cole”, “Byron Cage” and “J. Moss.”

The 2006 Cincinnati Ben-Gal Cheerleader Swimsuit Calendar was released to the public last month. The calendar is available for purchase at the Bengals Pro Shop located in Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.
