Earnshaw’s Magazine Hosts 30th Annual Earnie Awards Party

Children’s apparel hits the red carpet during annual Earnie Awards ceremony.

NEW YORK (PRWEB) October 20, 2006 -- Earnshaw’s, the leading children’s apparel trade magazine, announced the winners of the title’s coveted Earnie Award at its annual cocktail party and fashion show event. The party, which was held on October 16, 2006 at 6 p.m. at the Copacabana in New York, celebrated the best in children’s fashion, as voted on by retailers.

“This year’s show offered an exciting and fun atmosphere for the industry to come together and celebrate our success as a market,” stated publisher Stephen Schwartz. “We were excited to partner with sponsor DuPont™ Teflon®, which continues to offer innovative solutions that are a perfect match for our industry.”

“The Earnie Awards very anticipated by the entire industry. Leading up to the party, retailers love to cast their votes, and manufacturers are eager to find out who came out on top,” stated Caletha Crawford, editor in chief of Earnshaw’s magazine. “Each year the party gets better and somehow the children in the fashion show get cuter.”

The celebrity red carpet themed runway show featured the Earnie Award winners in 23 categories, including the infant and toddler market, girls’ wear, boys’ wear, sleepwear, swimwear and accessories. Among the awards this year was a special DuPont™ Teflon® Innovation Award given to Ju-Ju-Be diaper bags.
