Cincinnati Chef selected as official chef correspondent for CollegeInsider Magazine

Chef Chris Charbonneau of Cincinnati Chef Personal Chef Service has been selected as the official chef correspondent for the internet sports magazine CollegeInsider.com. The new feature, entitled "There's a COACH in my kitchen", will showcase interviews with some of college basketballs most recognized coaching names, talking about their passions for cooking and eating good food.

Chris Charbonneau, chef/owner of Cincinnati Chef Personal Chef service, has been chosen as the official chef/correspondent for the internet sports magazine CollegeInsider.com. A new bi-weekly feature, entitled "There's a COACH in my kitchen" showcases interviews with well-known coaching personalities and it explores their passions off the court and in the kitchen. It also feature where it is coaches like to eat when they are on the road and where their favorite hometown haunts are.

The first interview, with Southwest Missouri State Head Coach Barry Hinson, explored his love of barbecue and even featured a cooking challenge thrown out to Duke Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski. "We may not be able to beat Duke", said Hinson, "but I challenge Coach K to cook better barbecue than I do".

CollegeInsider has long been known for their relationships with many of the countries best known college coaches and assistants. Their "Fashionable Four" feature has been extremely popular since it's debut just 4 years ago and is now routinely followed with enthusiasm by college campus's from coast to coast. It features a field of 64 of the best dressed coaches in America and crowns a winner at the Final Four every year. President and owner of CollegeInsider, Joe Dwyer, said the choice of Cincinnati Chef as a columnist "was a no brainer". Chef Chris was born in New York City and grew up in the New York's historic Hudson Valley before coming to Cincinnati in March of 2000. Head Coach Dave Magarity of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, knows Chef Chris from his days in The Hudson Valley. “Cincinnati Chef is tremendous. He serves up an outstanding dish”, said Coach Magarity. “I always try and get up to Marist whenever I’m back in New York”, said Chef Chris. “It’s always a pleasure to cook for a character like Coach Magarity”.
