Football Fans Declare Time Out for T.O.

Football fans nationwide have become tired of hearing about the latest T.O. antics.

(PRWEB) October 25, 2006 -- It was bound to happen sooner or later. It started out as a discussion between two friends about bad attitudes, egos, and individualism in sports, and has turned into a website that is well on its way to becoming a cult hit among sports fanatics nationwide.

The website is T.O. Haters, and can be seen at www.TOHaters.com. It was created as a sounding board for those who are "Ticked Off" by players with bad attitudes and big egos.

When asked of Jamie King, one of the website's co-creators, if the site was focused towards a current big egoed wide receiver with the initials of T.O., his response was "T.O. Haters means something different to everyone. If people don't care for that individual's attitude and antics, they can sound off as well. The title is tongue and cheek, and has evidently struck a nerve as website page views are increasing as are the number of T.O. Haters."

T.O. Haters are invited to buy a piece of turf on a virtual football field on the website. For their contribution, all supporters can receive traffic to their website or the website of their favorite team.

The website is generating a buzz across the Internet, and is proof to the website's creators that teams and teamwork are taking center stage. "Those who choose to hurt their teams with their selfish actions have no place in sports, and this website lets people stand up for that belief."
