Country Music's Newest Duo Breaks on to the Scene

The Roys release debut album October 31 on Pedestal / Aspirion Records

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) October 25, 2006 -- Sister and brother duo, The Roys, will release their self-titled debut album on October 31, on Pedestal / Aspirion Records. The lead single, "House Full of Love" is at radio now, with the video recently added at CMT.com.

Natives of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Elaine and Lee Roy draw on influences from Dolly Parton to Ricky Skaggs to forge their own sound, which features strong lead vocals and beautiful sibling harmonies. Performing individually since they were children, and as a duo for over a decade, The Roys are proud to carry the banner of "Traditional Country" for a new generation of listeners. However, Elaine confesses, "Our live show can get as rowdy as a Brooks and Dunn concert!" Lee adds, "When we perform, we don't just stand there. We like to put on a show."

With the release of The Roys, Lee and Elaine are finally on their way and they are excited. "The new CD is us! We wrote or co-wrote all of the songs and it has a definite sound that reflects us.
