College Students Spread Drug Titles About Nrage Energy Strips After Cocaine Energy Drink Hoopla

The Nrage energy strips company CEO, Paul Giordano, says, "college kids in jest and energy drink consumers alike tout Nrage energy strips as the strip without the drip and he thinks this title is a direct correlation to the Cocaine energy drink hoopla".

New York (PRWEB) November 2, 2006 -- Innovate Nutrition has just launched a new caffeine based energy product called Nrage energy strips, which has not come without controversy. Paul Giordano, Chief Energy Officer of Innovate, says, "The hoopla surrounding Cocaine energy drink has brought much attention to the drug and spurred college students to jokingly spread rumors about our new caffeine based energy product Nrage energy strips. College students now reference Nrage energy strips as the strip without the drip and the term drip describes the side effects one experiences when using a controlled substance such as cocaine and may insinuate the namesake. This is not how the product should be portrayed."

Giordano says, "This rumor was spurred because the immediate delivery provides an instant energy rush or heightened effect. Then the clearing of the nasal passages for better breathing mimics the effects slightly but there is no Cocaine. It is clearly a caffeine based energy product with an all new delivery for energy. Now college kids for fun have adopted this title from the relation of the strip on the tongue and instant head rush of energy. Many of them are also taking Nrage Energy Strips after they drink a Red Bull to heighten the effect and call it speed bulling.

"Nrage is a new form of energy product but by no means contains ingredients misconstrued by this title. But it is easy to see how this buzz or controversy gets out of context," Giordano concludes.

What inspired an energy product in a strip?

The Energy Officer says "After the success of Red Bull and the first time he tried a Listerine strip it created a vision to enter the energy category with a product like Nrage. There was nothing like Nrage energy strips on the market providing such convenience, portability and delivery for athletes, students, night owls and drivers." So after working with top chemists to develop a strip that was superior on delivery and would offer a faster energy alternative to the dominating energy drink and pill market Nrage energy strips were born. Giordano says his motto became "If you can't fit a Red Bull in your pocket then carry a pocket full of energy without the can. One pack is equivalent to the caffeine in 6 Red Bulls right in your pocket. What's unique about Nrage there's no need to drink, chew or swallow it but just place a strip on your tongue and let it dissolve. The ingredients are delivered instantly through your cheeks and gums so the effects are rapid."

Giordano claims he is starting a new category with NRage as the buzz spreads in New York and Las Vegas at casinos like the Wynn, Hardrock and Palms. NRage is also sold online at its website. Giordano would not disclose the amounts of caffeine, but did say "Each strip contains less than a Red Bull with a far more superior delivery, 1-3 strips and your awake almost instantly. Most people do not get that such a small little strip can give such a wallop of energy and once they try it their hooked especially with NO carbs, NO sugars, and NO calories."

Is NRage on its way to be the next Red Bull success story without the can? That remains to be seen. One thing for certain, NRage is stirring up havoc from the claim it's the most effective energy product on the planet and the cost of energy drinks these days. In comparison, 6 energy drinks would cost $12-$15. Nrage is a fraction of that cost. So, we can see why college kids and energy product consumers are ramped up and would jump on this bandwagon.
