(PRWEB) October 30, 2006 -- In his role at Bell, William is responsible for leading the Enterprise team in creating a new value proposition and transforming the organization into an integrated ICT (Information and Communications Technology) provider. His responsibilities span core and next-generation products and services, life cycle management and development, Enterprise Group M&A, business planning, marketing, and the Enterprise portfolio of Technology Services businesses, including advanced contact centers, storage utility, outsourcing, wireless data solutions, Web and SOA services and security solutions.

Over the past 20 years, William has held executive leadership positions in various IT and telecommunications businesses, including significant international relocations and assignments.

In his most recent position before joining Bell, William worked at Gartner, where he created and led the firm's global outsourcing advisory practice, managing major deal negotiations around the globe. Under his leadership, Gartner shifted the industry's focus from deals to outcomes while creating the governance models required for successful outsourcing arrangements.

From 1996 to 2002, William was Managing Partner, Outsourcing & Managed Services, at AT&T Solutions. Generating more than $4 billion in revenue, his organization was responsible for a number of landmark deals for AT&T, most notably with several global banks.

From 1991 to 1996, William helped establish Equant Network Services and was the company's first officer in North America. After creating the American division, he grew it exponentially, securing one of Equant's first and largest outsourcing deals. Prior to his role at Equant, he held executive sales positions at GE Information Services.

From 2000 to 2005, William served as a member of the board of directors of Schema, a provider of wireless carrier network optimization software. Currently, he is serving on the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation's Advisory Council for the "Intelligent Community Initiative."

A dual American and UK citizen, William holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Keele University, England. He is a Chartered Management Accountant and graduate of The Wharton School's Executive Development Program.
