Daddaily.com to Launch the First Social Networking Site Exclusively for Dads

While usually overshadowed by mommy bloggers and social networking sites for mothers, the number of online dads has been steadily growing. Founded by a group of these online fathers, DadDaily.com will focus on creating a platform where dads can learn from each other using state-of-the-art Web 2.0 technology.

Miami, FL (PRWEB) October 27, 2006 -- While usually overshadowed by mommy bloggers and social networking sites for mothers, the number of online dads has been steadily growing. Founded by a group of these online fathers, DadDaily.com (www.daddaily.com) will focus on creating a platform where dads can learn from each other using state-of-the-art Web 2.0 technology.

"We simply want to help dads do it better," says Art Giacosa, the company co-founder.

"While we love broad based social networks like MySpace, we passionately believe that a more focused approach is necessary to drive true value to dads. As such, our site will facilitate information-sharing and interaction like any other social network, but we will also focus on promoting dad bloggers and creating a niche-exchange of services and products," adds Giacosa.

Refreshingly, Dad Daily isn’t backed by venture capitalists, huge bank loans or other high-flying Web 2.0 sites. It is “old school”. While providing state-of-the-art technology, it’s a throw back to the glory days of the web when sites were started as a way to better the world and to shake up the establishment. We all had two eyeballs and didn’t want anymore nor did we try to strategize ways to monetize them. The exit strategy is not to go public or to sell to Google. The end game is to help dads be better dads.

The company is currently making their site available to dads by invitation-only. A public beta release is scheduled for mid-November. For more information or a press kit, please visit www.DadDaily.com
