The First Multimedia Autobiography

A Dance Through the Fires of Time, David Mercer's Semi-Fictional, Semi-autobiographical 20th Century & Beyond explores the last half of the 20th Century.

MILTON KEYNES, ENGLAND (PRWEB) November 1, 2006 -- Part written autobiography, part website collection, and wholly original, David Mercer's stunning book, A Dance Through the Fires of Time, David Mercer's Semi-Fictional, Semi-autobiographical 20th Century & Beyond, charts his part in the tumultuous events of modern day life.

David Mercer's stunningly written and website-supplemented autobiography offers a panoramic view of his life—and of the world. Mercer came of age in post-war Britain and was part of the PC revolution. He worked on behalf of the British Foreign Office and helped the Ethiopian government move from communism to social democracy. Mercer also was Director of the Open University Futures Observatory, advising governments on events that might happen in the future.

Dazzlingly written, Mercer's book explores his rollercoaster life from many different approaches. Along with the book, there is a multimedia collection supported by his extensive website at http://www.futureobservatory.org which includes the full contents of many of his mega-selling management books. Mercer's incredible successes and dramatic failures make for a fascinating, unstintingly honest and moving dance through time.

"A Dance Through The Fires of Time is more than one man's reminiscences; it is also an avant-garde step into publishing that combines a written autobiography with a collection of website links…Mercer's writing pulls us into his life, allowing us to experience the exciting and sometimes alarming transformations that have taken place globally across six decades and into a new century. In this beautifully written book, we are also reminded that technology, like life, can quickly shift from daunting to exhilarating. It takes someone as innovative as David Mercer to remind us how quickly this can happen."
