The two videos in the package - "Lessons from Ground Zero: Evacuation" and "Lessons from Ground Zero: Emergency Action Plan" - take viewers behind the scenes of the emergency evacuation plan that saved the lives of thousands, and the ensuing rescue and cleanup efforts at the extremely hazardous Ground Zero site.

In addition to the two video programs, the training package also includes a Leader's Guide on CD-ROM with helpful discussion points and a useful manual entitled Preparing Your Emergency Action Plan.

Designed by some of the very experts who were involved in the rescue efforts at Ground Zero, this unique tool provides employers with a template for creating and implementing an emergency action plan step by step.

The manual features in-depth descriptions of key elements for a successful emergency evacuation plan including, establishing a planning team, analyzing capabilities and hazards, communications, community outreach, as well as recovery and restoration. It also covers specific hazards such as fire, hurricanes and HAZMAT incidents.
