LA Music Award winner, JPF Music Award nominee, and recent Yamaha endorsee, Bob Gentry, in the Top 5 of NBC's show "StarTomorrow." The show's winner is chosen by voters with the help of multiple Grammy winning producer David Foster.

Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) November 2, 2006

On the coattails of an endorsement by Yamaha Corporation, a nomination by the JPF Music Awards for Singer Songwriter of the Year, and being named Rock Singer Songwriter of the Year for his song "Upside Down" by the LA Music Awards, Bob Gentry has made his way to the final round of "StarTomorrow," a music competition produced by NBC. Multiple Grammy winning producer David Foster provides commentary on the groups in the competition and is rumored to be associated with the show's grand prize, a development deal with a major label.

"I've had a lot of great things happening lately, between the nomination and award, the association with Yamaha which I'm really excited about, StarTomorrow and my show (at The Key Club) on November 14th, that it's a little overwhelming. But, it's so great to have things really coming together; it's almost unbelievable." says Gentry during a rehearsal for his upcoming Key Club performance.

Beginning with approximately 100 acts, StarTomorrow, has five acts remaining of which one will be chosen as the winner. Gentry, who writes, sings, and plays piano and guitar, has won every round of the competition thus far. Voting for the final round, week fourteen, is now open on http://www.startomorrow.com with Gentry's award nominated song, "Upside Down" playing throughout the week.

The winner of the competition is currently scheduled to be announced November 6, 2006.
