Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) November 2, 2006 -- The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association and educator in talent management strategies, announced today that it has launched a new education program aimed at providing key executives, line managers, and human capital professionals with the newest ideas, most effective tools, and best practices in talent acquisition, alignment, engagement, deployment, measurement, retention, and other strategic practices.

HCI has expanded its course offerings to include new certificate programs, additional course offerings, and more choices in terms of method of course content delivery.

The new HCI education program focuses on three key areas: Executive Leadership, Management Transformation, and Strategic Talent Management. HCI now offers five new courses, three in Executive Leadership and two in Management Transformation, as well as an enhanced version of its signature course, Human Capital Management Principles, which has been renamed Talent Strategies for High Performing Leaders to reflect the new content.

Strategic Talent Management Certificate programs are available in four key areas: Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Talent Strategy, and Talent Leadership.

In addition, a new partnership with eCornell, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cornell University, has resulted in a learning system that offers human capital professionals a wider array of education opportunities.

Through the agreement with eCornell, HCI has incorporated acclaimed eCornell executive, line management, and human resources certificate programs that provide core skills training for today's leaders. eCornell programs are designed by renowned faculty from Cornell University's highly-rated Johnson Graduate School of Management and its School of Industrial and Labor Relations. All courses are developed by subject-matter experts at the top of their fields, with attention to facilitating skills transfer and personalization of the learning experience.

To facilitate learning opportunities, all HCI courses are now available online. Courses are also available by request on site, and can be tailored to meet individual organization training needs.

"The enhancements to our education both broaden and deepen HCI's program. The changes further our core mission to provide human capital professionals with premier education opportunities that focus on every aspect of talent management," said David Forman, HCI's Chief Learning Officer.
