Stated company president Dan Ruminski, "Our tests indicate that a mat temperature of 115-120 degrees Fahrenheit is achieved both on the surface and the bottom of the mat, meaning it warms and dries itself while also drying wet floors."

Market testing showed that drivers of all types of vehicles, especially those who were in and out of their vehicles several times a day, found that their shoes and pant bottoms remained dry and comfortable. Drivers also reported that their legs were also less fatigued at the end of the day thanks to the radiant heat from the mats.

The City of Rochester, New York, had a problem with ice build up on the floors of their refuse trucks causing problems for drivers who were constantly in and out of the truck cabs all day. Testing indicated that the Heated Truck Mat solved the problem making for a safer and more comfortable environment of Rochester Sanitation workers. Mats were wired to a switch on the truck dashboard for easy use.

The Ohio Department of Transportation, O.D.O.T., had a problem with migration of salt water into the electrical system of the truck. Salt was tracked into the cab by drivers' boots when they refilled their trucks with salt several times a day. According to their drivers, the deep groove construction of the Heated Truck Mat trapped the water which was then evaporated by the 120 degree heat before damaging the truck wiring.
