The simulators can simulate any worldwide telephone network, with the ability to customise all network parameters.

Virtual Console simulators are supplied with default configurations for the majority of worldwide networks and are easily configured to individual requirements with the supplied PSTN Manager software. The simulators are highly portable and do not require an attached PC for day to day operation.

Advanced features include programmable signal levels and the option to introduce echo and white noise. Worldwide Caller ID standards are supported including FSK, line reversal and DTMF.

Other than the traditional uses of development and factory testing, the simulators are also ideal for testing returns in a retail environment.

With the growing emergence of VOIP the simulators are increasingly being used for testing the suitability of FXO ports for PSTN breakout.
