America’s Faith Waning After 9-11

A year after 9-11, Gallup Poll analyses on religion shows that everything’s business as usual in the religious lives of Americans. The initial burst of religious enthusiasm was short-lived, with church attendance and interest in God dropping back to pre-terrorist attack levels. The initial burst of religious enthusiasm was short-lived, with church attendance and interest in God dropping back to pre-terrorist attack levels.
