Million Dollar Hole-In-One® Annual Las Vegas Golf Tournament was held on November 5-6, 2006.

Stuart, Fl. (PRWEB) November 20, 2006 -- Million Dollar Hole-In-One® held its Annual Las Vegas Golf Tournament and Events on November 5-6, 2006. Attending was an international group of ninety qualifiers, guests and supporters from Canada, Europe and the US.

Las Vegas was at its best. The skies were clear and the temperatures warm. The City's world class casinos, restaurants, entertainment, shopping, golf and recreation were available for the group to enjoy.

Our Tournament was held at the Pete Dye designed Paiute Golf Resort Sun Mountain Course. Seeing is believing. The Course is surrounded by desert mountains and is breathtaking. Each par three had a hole-in-one award. The grand prize was the $1 million, 20 year annuity, new this year was a Chrysler 300, the two other par 3s had a $10,000 cash prize or trips for 2.

One contestant was less than a yard away from scoring an ace at the million dollar hole! Everyone came away a winner. The golf was challenging, the course spectacular, and the weather perfect. To top it off the camaraderie was outstanding and all experienced the Paiute's attention to customer care.

Our host hotel was the Treasure Island which has a great location. It is steps away from the Mirage, Venetian, Wynn, Fashion Show Mall and the Forum Shops at Caesars. The Hotel lived up to its reputation with a friendly helpful staff.

Many attendees came early and stayed late. Hit restaurants included Bouchon, Osteria del Circo, and Spago. Cirque de Soleil now has six unique shows in Vegas. They may have out done themselves with the Beatles Love. Hoover Dam was a favorite side trip.

Presented at Million Dollar Hole-One®'s Award Dinners were merchandise awards for the four low gross foursome's, longest drive, closest to the pin and for the five finalists of the $5,000 putting contest. Silent auction and raffle proceeds were dedicated to the Diabetes Research Institute.

Milt Walters, the Company's Chairman, announced at the Award Dinner"Million Dollar Hole-In-One was awarded in 2006 the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation Prestigious Cycle of Discovery Translation Award.
