The new Morean Center in Lakewood, CA, which opened its doors on July 10th, operates in a blending of Mohawk traditional medicines and Korean FIR. This advanced technology (FIR) is renowned for detoxification, accelerated healing and cellular healing.
Three years ago Ae Sook "Annie" Choi was on a mission to have the MPS Global, Inc., FIR technology scientifically investigated and teamed up with Dr. Hildegarde Staninger, a leading international OSHA industrial hygienist, environmental toxicologist and Doctor of Integrative Medicine. Together they formed Integrative Health International, the Morean's parent corporation.
Sun Wok "Sunny" Jung, President of MPS Global, Inc., Pomona, CA, whose late father headed MPS in partnership with an uncle and brother in Seoul, Korea, is the principal researcher involved in developing the FIR technology, the MPS Rainbow - the forerunner of other MPS products. The MPS Rainbow is a portable, semi-circular unit, available for personal home use or use in a Center. Other products are the MPS Capsule DIMA (a full-body massage unit) and the MPS FIR Wooden Sauna.
The MPS units are made in South Korea and imported to the U.S. in a a cooperative venture between Jung's company, MPS Global, Inc. and Daiugin of Japan, the leader in the patented carbon fiber (known as FIR ray emitters) used in the panels emitting the FIR.
Japan's Luke Hospital contacted his father, Mo, for consultation when cancer patients in hyperthermia treatment there were being burned by near-infrared rays. "If I were to put an ice cube under the Rainbow in the Far-Infrared," said Staninger, "the ice cube would hardly melt at all as compared to the melting experienced by holding an ice cube in my hand.
"This is important, because our bones are made up of 45% water. FIR follows the fresh water (in the body) between the cells, as opposed to the saltwater inside the cells. When radiant heat is administered to a broken bone or a hip replacement, there is accelerated healing in two weeks, which normally would take six to eight weeks. The bone density is actually increased. Far-Infrared goes straight to the bone. It even goes through two feet of a concrete wall.
"With FIR, tissue is repaired and pain is reduced - beyond reduced. After a 30 minute to one hour treatment, people using the FIR have no pain, whether after an automobile accident, in the case of metastasized cancer or even with menstrual cramps."
A unique aspect of FIR is its ability to act as a highly efficient delivery system within the body. Dr. Staninger further explained, "When you use nutritional supplements with FIR the FIR carries the nutrients where they are needed the most because FIR goes where it's needed the most."
What is so unique about Far-Infrared Radiant Heat? According to Dr. Staninger, near and mid-infrared rays are visible to the human eye and have to have at least one photon and one electron. True Far-Infrared has no photons and just one-half an electron. And, near and mid-infrared can cook and burn the tissue, while FIR warms the body but does not cook it.
"FIR is the ideal solution (to kill) biofilms created in the mouth from tea and other food sources, molds, bacteria, viruses, microorganisms and such," she says. "The American Dental Association has shown that biofilms create diseases like heart attacks and kidney disease. FIR can be used to treat everything from cancer and tumors, fibromyalgia, migraines, gout and back pain to depression, insomnia, parasites and chemical sensitivities."
At the Morean Center in Lakewood, CA, the protocol is 20 minutes in a specially constructed 8-by-10-foot therapy room which can hold as many as 10 people at a time on teak benches. The room was designed by Jung, with 17 FIR panels mounted on the wall to create a FIR environment to open up people's lymphatic channels.
A second 20-minute session in the capsule DIMA releases the toxins and protein buildup in the spinal cord. That is followed by another 20-minute session which sends FIR to the weakest areas of the body, the areas lacking in FIR, natural to the human body. "People don't go outside anymore," says Staninger, "so their bodies are missing the far-infrared rays. We get far infrared from the sun."
