New Starbrite Whitening Toothpaste to Debut in Victoria's Secret Stores - Cosmetic Dentist's Proprietary Formula Promises a Celebrity Star Power White Smile Starbrite whitening toothpaste developed by New York-based cosmetic dentist, Dr. Debra Glassman, will debut this week in Victoria' Secret flagship stores. MoxieTM, a New York-based package design firm, created the bright pink package to highlight the product's cosmetic appeal. New York, NY (PRWeb) November 20, 2006 -- Beginning this week, shoppers at 71 flagship Victoria's Secret stores will be able to purchase an advanced whitening toothpaste developed by Dr. Debra Glassman, a Manhattan-based cosmetic dentist whose clientèle includes celebrities such as Jesica Simpson, Randy Jackson, and Usher.
Starbrite whitening toothpaste in a bright pink package will fit right in with Victoria's Secret signature pink-branded stores. While other whitening toothpaste packages look medicinal and clinical, Starbrite's pink is eye-catching and was chosen to distinguish the product's cosmetic appeal.
Starbrite's proprietary formula includes Xylitol to prevent cavities and gum disease and calcium peroxide for superior whitening. According to Dr. Glassman, "Everybody wants a celebrity star power white smile." The tooth whitening business is an $8 billion industry.
MoxieTM, a New York based package design firm, created the bright pink package that features the Starbrite brandmark with a large silver star in place of the letter "a". "The star becomes the symbol for the brand," says Tammy Vaserstein, creative director for MoxieTM. Smaller silver stars are used as a design element for bullet points and borders around the package. The tagline, "for a white celebrity smile" and a photo of Dr. Glassman along with her signature completes the endorsement on the package. The inner box is pink and black leopard design - a favorite pattern of Dr. Glassman.
MoxieTM also created sample size packages that will be given out in select Victoria's Secret stores with every purchase during November and December. By January 2007, the product will be sold in all Victoria's Secret stores. In addition, sales associates will receive buttons to wear to promote the product in store.
Starbrite will retail for $6.99 and will be sold near the check-out counters. Future extensions of the line include a matching pink mouthwash and dental floss.
The Venetian and Wynn Hotels in Las Vegas will also be placing Starbrite toothpaste in its guest rooms and selling it in their hotel stores.
MoxieTM (www.moxietm.com) is an international brand and package design firm with offices in New York, Miami, and Latin America.
