Hint Mint Partners With ChicBlvd.com to Launch Their First Annual Carry a Tin 4 Aids Campaign

On World AIDS Day, December 1st 2006, Hint Mint, www.hintmint.com will partner with ChicBlvd.com to launch their first annual, CarryATin4AidsCampaign www.chicblvd.com/aids. Beginning with Jesse Bradford and Maurice Green, the companies will carefully select 48 additional individuals to begin an awareness chain by presenting them with a uniquely numbered, Limited Edition AIDS Awareness Tin and asking them to take one mint and pass along the tin. The ultimate goal is for the participant to inspire 34 more people (whether they be friends, family or random encounters) to do the same until ultimately, 35 mints later, the now empty tin is sent to the office of YouthAIDS/ PSI in Washington, DC on or before January 1st, 2007 deadline.

(PRWeb) November 18, 2006 -- AIDS is no longer just a dietary candy, nor is it a disease that's gender or race specific. It no longer singularly devastates the lives in Africa.

All of our lives are impacted by AIDS both subtly and overwhelmingly.

The hypothesis of Six Degrees of Separation states that anyone on Earth can be connected to any other person on the planet through a chain of acquaintances with no more than five intermediaries. Based on this idea, the number of acquaintances grows exponentially with the number of links in the chain (in this case mints and tins). Therefore only a small number of links is required for the set of acquaintances to become the whole human population. With that concept in mind…

On World AIDS Day, December 1st 2006, Hint Mint, www.hintmint.com will partner with www.ChicBlvd.com to launch their first annual, CarryATin4AidsCampaign www.chicblvd.com/aids.

Participants in the Carryatin4aids program are encouraged to pledge a minimum of $5.00 and seek pledges or sponsorships for their numbered tin, in an effort to reach our goal of $50,000 dollars. However, stressing that this is a social campaign and community project, everyone participating is held accountable in making sure the participating tins arrive at the offices of YouthAIDS by January 1st, 2007 to collect. Additionally Hint Mint is donating 100% of profits from the sale of the Awareness tins which can also be purchased on line at www.hintmint.com

AIDS has killed more than 25 million people worldwide making it the most destructive epidemic in recorded history. In 2005 the AIDS epidemic claimed an estimated 3.1 million lives of which, more than 570,000 were children. Everyday more than 2,000 kids are infected with the HIV virus. AIDS is beyond a cause, it's an emergency!

Hint Mint and ChicBlvd.com hope that by starting a train of awareness across America, a Gesture Of Kindness, movement will be sparked that will take on a life of its own to save lives all over the world. When an Awareness Mint is serendipitously offered to you, act responsibly.
