Christine Klein Names Assistant Controller at The Hampshire Companies

The Hampshire Companies, a full service, private real estate investment fund manager with equity in assets valued at over $1.5 billion, announced today the appointment of Christine Klein to the position of Assistant Controller.

Morristown, NJ (PRWeb) November 20, 2006 -- The Hampshire Companies, a full service, private real estate investment fund manager with equity in assets valued at over $1.5 billion, announced today the appointment of Christine Klein to the position of Assistant Controller. In this position, Klein will work closely with fund Controllers for Hampshire's three primary investment funds.

Klein's primary responsibility will be to assist Denise Novack, Fund Controller for Hampshire Partners Fund VI, Hampshire's $600 million institutional investment fund. Klein will also be assisting Fund Controllers for The Hampshire Generational Fund and The Hampshire Legacy Fund. The goal of each of these discretionary value add real estate investment funds is to deliver superior, above-market returns to investors through the acquisition and operation of various classes of commercial properties, as well as through investing in other real estate funds.

Klein, a Montclair State University graduate, received her B.S in accounting in 1995. As an accounting major, Klein was a member of the Accounting Society and the recipient of the Charles K Payne Scholarship. Previous to joining Hampshire, Klein held the position of Staff Accountant at The Gale Company, where she won the Gale & Wentworth Finance Award.
