Banff, Alberta (PRWeb) November 21, 2006 -- The eyes of the world will be on Banff Lake Louise as the Winterstart World Cup ski races sponsored by Bombardier get underway Nov. 25-Dec. 3.

The fastest men and women skiers on the planet compete in Super G and Downhill races at Lake Louise Mountain Resort. The men go head-to-head Nov. 25-26 and the women race Dec. 1-3.

The Winterstart World Cup event acts as a kick-off for a superb winter season of skiing and snowboarding fun in the Canadian Rocky Mountains (http://www.banfflakelouiselive.com/SkiingSnowboarding.cfm) and Banff National Park.
