Los Feliz Village Business Improvement District Announces 2nd Annual Holiday Festival

Holiday Festival brings magic and cheer to residents and visitors.

(PRWeb) November 22, 2006 -- After a first successful year, the Los Feliz Village Holiday Festival (www.losfelizvillageonline.com) expands to include Vermont Ave. and Hollywood Blvd. Featuring free rides on an antique trolley transporting visitors throughout the Village. Many shops along Hillhurst, Vermont and Hollywood will stay open late and offer complimentary refreshments and holiday cheer. Tree lighting ceremony with carolers in front of the Los Feliz Library at 6:00PM. The Fire Department will be collecting new toys for those kids in need. "Holiday Boutiques" with artist tables will be set up in front of local businesses to add to the festivities. Kids can also take a complimentary photo with Santa that evening.

When: Saturday, December 2nd, 2006, 6:00pm – 10:00pm

Where: Hillhurst Ave between Los Feliz Blvd. and Hollywood, Vermont Ave between Franklin and Hollywood Blvd, and Hollywood Blvd between Hillhurst and Vermont. The trolley will go along Hillhurst, Hollywood and Vermont in a loop.

Why: As one of the few “walking” neighborhoods in Los Angeles, Los Feliz Village offers the ideal backdrop for this Holiday Festival. Village shop keepers, known for their warm hospitality and eclectic merchandise, look forward to welcoming the public and toasting the season.
