How to Be Healthy, Feel Great, Drop the Guilt and Win the Battle

Dr. Monica Weil's Do You Really Want To Eat That? will become the Bible for anyone seeking nutrition, fitness, emotional well-being…and there are great recipes

Northridge, Calif. (PRWeb) November 24, 2006 -- Everyone wants to feel better, but how many of us are willing to put in the work? Dr. Monica Weil's Do You Really Want To Eat That? is the ideal guide toward weight loss and fitness…without the hard work and without the guilt.

As Director of the Long Beach Treatment services for Tarzana Treatment Centers Inc. and a licensed psychologist with a thriving private practice, Monica Weil has dedicated her professional life to working with individuals who struggle with life's daily issues. Introducing the tools of her craft--that is, how behavior shapes our eating habits, exercise patterns, and overall sense of well-being--the author has illuminated each of her examples through the interesting and often hilarious fictionalized experiences of the protagonist, Shelly Weilmeiner, as she struggles with adolescent body/weight issues and eventually matures into a woman who lives comfortably in her own skin.

Following the eating/behavioral exploits of the heroine, the second section of this book is focused on her readers. Included is a workbook designed to guide them through twenty weeks of healthy living. From eating to hands-on, life-changing exercises, Do You Really Want to Eat That? explores the physical and emotional components of getting through each day with maximum energy and vitality, minimum guilt and stress.

According to Dr. Weil, an overall sense of well-being is far more important than holding to a rigid and unpleasant diet. In a very big sense, the author takes "punitive" out of daily living and replaces it with "enjoyment." For those seeking guidance in all things related to health, this book is precisely what's needed.
