Renaissance Austin Hotel celebrates Customer Appreciation Week.

Austin, Texas (PRWeb) November 29, 2006 -- The luxury Renaissance Hotel in Austin, in conjunction with two other Austin Marriott properties, honored customers by hosting a Global Customer Appreciation Week Celebration.

The party was held at the Renaissance Austin Hotel's newly renovated Exhibit Hall, and featured live music with local Austin musician Hedda Layne.

"Our general managers work closely with our sales departments year-round to acknowledge the hotels' customers, but this week, special attention is given," said the Renaissance Austin's VP of Sales and Marketing, Tom Dolan "We are extending an additional thank you to our customers for their support and business."

Marriott's Global Customer Appreciation Week falls in the end of October, and each Marriott and Renaissance property plans various types of activities for their guests and customers during this special week. Over 300 guests at the Austin party enjoyed live music, cocktails, and a continuous flow of delectable hors d'oeuvres, exquisite samplings and mouth-watering desserts, all planned by the Renaissance's Executive Chef Raman Natarajan and his culinary team.

Guests were able to experience the new bedding package that is now offered in all of the Austin hotel suites. Beds were also given away to three lucky customers through a drawing held at the end of the evening, with each general manager selecting a winner.

The Austin kick off event was hosted in conjunction with the Austin Marriott at the Capitol and the Marriott Horseshoe Bay Resort.
