Master Nursery Garden Centers Selects Lawn and Garden Yellow Pages to Reach The Internet User

Master Nursery Garden Centers (MNGC) announced today that it will collaborate with Lawn and Garden Yellow Pages (LGYP.com) in an effort to reach the consumer on the Internet.

Woodbine, MD (PRWeb) November 29, 2006 -- Master Nursery Garden Centers (MNGC) announced today that it will collaborate with Lawn and Garden Yellow Pages (LGYP.com) in an effort to reach the consumer on the Internet. MNGC is the nation's largest independent garden center cooperative with approximately 800 members nationwide. The relationship designates LGYP.com as an MNGC endorsed vendor. Vendors are carefully selected to be a part of MNGC's cooperative of products and services.

MNGC will participate in LGYP.com by providing relevant listing information for each of its 800 independent garden center members. MNGC will also offer each of its members the option to upgrade their listings at group rates.

"There is a huge audience on the web looking for information about local garden center/nurseries," says LGYP.com CEO/Founder, Steve Cissel. Bill Jameson, President and CEO of MNGC, recently listed several priorities that the cooperative deemed critical. One such priority focused on a member service that integrates MNGC and its members into the vast Internet audience. "Many of our members have asked that we offer a service that would market their garden center to the Internet savvy consumer," says Jameson. "This is such a specialized area of expertise that, until we began discussions with the LGYP.com team, we had limited direction on how to accomplish this.
