Advantage Property Ventures, L.P. Managing General Partners Shawn Wikoff and Paul Petonak are eager to compliment APV's ongoing business model of residential first mortgage note purchases with individual commercial real estate transactions.

In 2009, APV began acquiring attractive first mortgage notes across the Midwest through bulk note pools. After reviewing the current real estate markets, APV is eager to stabilize income within an already impressive real estate portfolio with the addition of attractive commercial real estate assets. "Commercial assets with guaranteed, long term leases of reputable tenants attached are some of the real estate assets being evaluated by the partnership", says Shawn Wikoff. Currently, the commercial real estate market offers a large number of these types of assets at heavily discounted prices.

Shawn Wikoff and Paul Petonak believe the addition of commercial real estate assets attached to long term leases of reputable tenants will allow the partnership to create synergy with companies and build relationships within the commercial real estate market. Managing General Partner Paul Petonak says, "Predictable income is crucial to intelligent portfolio diversification, especially in times of an uncertain real estate market."

Assets acquired by APV vary from first lien mortgage notes, multi-family apartment complexes, single family residences and luxury homes, as well as a host of other real estate backed assets. APV does not invest in mortgage backed securities or via other hedge funds, nor is APV engaged as a feeder fund to any other institutional or private equity fund.
