ALTRA Magazine Official Launch Party

On Sunday, January 14th, 2007, ALTRA, a lifestyle print magazine for Asians in America, will host its official launch party In West Hollywood at the Geisha House from 8pm to 12am. Sponsors include The IW Group, Fresh Events Co., LM Public Relations, Geisha House and Effen Vodka. This is a follow-up event to Altra's pre-launch party previously held in NYC, in conjunction with MTV Chi.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWeb) January 4, 2007 -- On Sunday, January 14th, 2007, ALTRA, a lifestyle print magazine for Asians in America, will host its official launch party in West Hollywood at the Geisha House from 8pm to 12am. Sponsors include The IW Group, Fresh Events Co., LM Public Relations, Geisha House and Effen Vodka. This is a follow-up event to Altra's pre-launch party previously held in NYC, in conjunction with MTV Chi.

The purpose of this event is to celebrate the official launch of ALTRA magazine; a print publication geared to both Asian men and women in the US. This event is expecting about two hundred attendees, invitees include Asian American celebrities such as James Kyson Lee of the TV series "Heroes," prominent business leaders, media professionals, and subscribers from all over the country. There will be a VIP hour offering complimentary open bar, customized appetizers, and goody bags. Complementary vodka cocktails will be offered by Effen Vodka throughout the night.

Based in New York City, ALTRA reports the latest influential news and personalities emerging from the Asian American community. It provides insight into the "Dual Identity" factor that is shared by every Asian in the US. The target readers are cosmopolitan, educated, both young and established Asian professionals, who are either newly immigrated, or born and raised in the US, and have a blended lifestyle with both Asian and American values, outlooks and traditions. Altra will be distributed in cities with the highest concentrations of Asian American population, including New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, and Houston.

The magazine will be published four times a year for 2007 and will feature quality, thought provoking articles, ground breaking entertainment features, local, national community news, as well as non-Asian American news and personalities that affect this community, exclusive offers and promotions, along with striking photography and reader focused segments.
