A WEALTH OF WALL STREET CALENDARS This year there is an unprecedented wealth of wall-street calendars, daytimers and almanacs for gift-giving to the investment guru or financial wizard. DENVER, CO, November 8, 2002 -- You would never know the economy is in a slump based on the wall street calendars available. This year there is an unprecedented wealth of financial calendars, daytimers and almanacs for holiday gift-giving.
Once again the Wall Street Museum is offering its free, online calendar with historical pictures. For the first time the 2003 calendar is in color; however, if you don't have a color printer it should still look good in black and white. The page may take a while to download into your web browser as the picture is a 300-dpi jpeg for good print quality. One 8-1/2" x ll" page has the 12-month calendar with a picture of the U. S. Treasury Building and a second 8-1/2" x ll" page offers the schedule of holidays with a picture of Wall Street Winter in 1834. Access this calendar at http://www.wallstreetmuseum.org/.
For over 20 years R. S. Parker, Inc. has produced a Securities Calendar. Each of the 12 months in the $9.00, 2003 wall calendar features a unique stock certificate. This 9" x 12" (unopened) calendar can be customized with your name for corporate gift-giving. It is marketed through Wall Street Greetings and can be ordered through their affiliate, the Greeting Card Dept. of "The Investor's Shop at http://www.bullandbeargifts.com/cards/.
For a large at-a-glance calendar, see the $6.00, 2003 "Paris Bourse" calendar in the Bull and Bear Basics Dept. of The Investor's Shop at http://www.bullanbeargifts.com/basics/. This 11" x 17", glossy, poster-type, one-page, wall calendar can be customized with your name for use as a promotional gift. Contact the Investor's Shop for details about bulk orders and customization.
For the second year BrownTrout Publishers have produced a 12" x 12" (unopened), 12-month, "World Trade Center Memorial Calendar: A Tribute To The Twin Towers" retailing for $12.99. Another popular repeat calendar, selling for $10.39, is "Who Moved My Cheese 2003" by Spencer Johnson, a 5.25" x 6.13" block calendar based on his book. A popular box calendar in 2002 was "The Road To Wealth" by Suze Orman. Unfortunately there is no hint of a 2003 version; however people who like calendars of this type will be glad to know that Bill O'Reilly has produced one for $8.79 called "The O'Reilly Factor 2003 Calendar: The Good, the Bad, and the Completely Ridiculous in American Life". All are available at a number of retail stores including Amazon.com and affiliates. They are prominently featured in the Book Dept. of The Investor's Shop at http://www.bullandbeargifts.com/books/.
The leading wall street daytimers and almanacs, are also featured at The Investor's Shop Book Dept.; however they are often not available via the Amazon.com affiliation until too late for holiday season gift-giving. Later in the year these popular items can be out of stock! Therefore, here are descriptions and links for ordering directly from the publishers.
