MeanTeachers.Com - the web site with the email address for the best teachers, has begun taking applications for the Mean Teacher of the Month Contest. This contest is open to all teachers - with the monthly winner being featured on the MeanTeachers.Com home page beginning in December.

MeanTeachers.Com is a new internet site geared to teachers. In addition to e-mail addresses touting one's affiliation, there are also features on combatting plagiarism and shopping specials from such retailers as Amazon.Com, Coldwater Creek and J. Crew.

MeanTeachers.Com is the brain child of internet pioneer Laurence A. Canter, and a "mean" high school science teacher in California who prefers to remain behind the scene for the time being.
