Birkdale Village Restaurant Changes Strategy/Heightens Profile and Expands Menu to Include Sushi

Birkdale Village's only fusion restaurant has changed its strategy and is no longer a franchise of Zyng International. Local owner/operator Marcus Hall has reinvented the restaurant as eeZ Fusion and Sushi and now offers the first and only sushi menu in Birkdale Village.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (PRWeb) February 1, 2007 -- Birkdale Village's only fusion restaurant has changed its strategy and is no longer a franchise of Zyng International. Local owner/operator Marcus Hall has reinvented the restaurant as eeZ Fusion and Sushi and now offers the first and only sushi menu in Birkdale Village.

Restaurant owner Marcus Hall knew that sushi continued to grow in popularity in Lake Norman, although the area still lacked a true blend of healthy fusion foods and sushi. However, the format of the franchise prevented him from expanding his menu.

"So many of our guests were telling us that if we could offer sushi with the same high level of quality as the rest of our menu that we would have a home run," Hall said. "By creating eeZ, we have really raised the quality and freshness of our ingredients while at the same time expanded our menu dramatically."

Indeed, dishes served at eeZ feature the freshest ingredients possible, "We just don't like to use frozen ingredients in our dishes," Hall said. "Fresh always wins over frozen. We are really proud to offer some of the healthiest food found in the area."

In addition to its delicious blend of foods from numerous Asian countries and 85-item sushi bar, eeZ also features a full non-smoking bar, with choices of domestic and imported beers, fine wines, and huge 10 oz. specialty martinis such as the Chocolate-Dipped Fortune Cookie Martini.

"Not only do we offer great food, but we also created a relaxing and fun environment to unwind," Hall said. "Its great that people can kick back with a drink, enjoy a Caterpillar Roll, and do it in a 100% smoke-free environment. We have really created a place that is both sophisticated and kid friendly at the same time."

eeZ continues to receive great reviews from guests and media. "I can't begin to describe the dinner I had, aside from the fact that it was absolutely amazing!" said John Riccio, publisher of Lake Norman Lifestyles Magazine. Riccio gave eeZ 5 stars in a recent dining review.
