Teen Entrepreneur Launches GameRepo.com - Win Prizes for Playing Flash Games GameRepo allows its users to play from an arsenal of fun flash games, all the while secretly choosing winners for its prize giveaways. The more a user plays on the site, the more likely he/she will win a prize. These aren't just t-shirts, we're talking about X Box's iPods, and more goodies. The plan is to give out a few prizes a month at first and as the site grows, rev up the number of prizes given away. Boston, MA (PRWeb) February 3, 2006 -- 20-year old entrepreneur, Fahim Saleh has launched a new website which will allow visitors to simultaneously play games and win prizes.
"It's not just some hoax, we are actually giving away Xbox's, iPods, and other great stuff," Saleh says.
Rewarding visitors for use of services isn't a new idea, sites such as Blingo.com have been rewarding visitors for searching, Revver.com for posting videos, GameRepo.com is only a reincarnation of the popular concept - this time for games. The internet is saturated with flash game sites but Saleh hopes to distinguish his site from the rest. "Why would you go to another flash game site when ours has just as many games (if not more) and gives you a chance to win awesome prizes? It's really a no-brainer for visitors. I'm sure the concept will hold true," he said.
Preliminary reactions have been positive for GameRepo.com. Users seems to enjoy the site interface the most which takes advantage of emerging web technologies, allowing for a more streamlined visit. GameRepo.com joins the crowded pack of Web 2.0 concepts hoping to make it big. Only time will tell if GameRepo has what it takes to attain internet stardom.
