Everest Poker Announces Date For Final Paris Open Of Poker Satellite Tournament

The final round in Everest Poker's satellite tournament for seats at the upcoming Paris Open of Poker will be held on February 8, 2007.

Montreal, QC (PRWeb) February 7, 2007 -- Everest Poker www.everestpoker.com announced today that the final direct entry tournament in its Paris Open of Poker satellite series would be held on February 8, 2007 at 20:00 GMT. The Paris Open of Poker will be held on 17 February, 2007 at the Aviation Club de France in Paris and features a €2,000 prize.

"Despite the fact it's never been made official, we think of the Aviation Club de France as the home of poker in France," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. "We're always eager to send our players there for a tournament."

The final direct entry event for the Paris Open of Poker is a no limit hold'em tournament. Each player starts with 1500 chips and blinds go up every 15 minutes. Everest Poker will award one $3,500 prize package for every 35 participants. Any remaining cash in the prize pool will be awarded as cash prizes. After the conclusion of this tournament, Everest Poker will use a portion of the prize package to pre-register the winner(s) for the live event. After the currency exchange has been completed, all remaining funds will be credited to the winner's Everest Poker account.

Buy-in for this poker tournament can be handled in three ways. Interested players can buy-in for $100+9 or use an Everest Gold Token for entry. They may also use Everest Poker's exclusive rewards program, Summit Points, to enter the tournament as well with a 25000+2500 buy-in.
