Etihad Launches New York City Luxury Chauffeur Service

First and business class passengers enjoy free chauffeur service to and from JFK Airport. Etihad's transportation partner, Empire International, provides service within 70 mile radius of JFK in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

New York, NY (PRWeb) February 13, 2007 -- Etihad Airways (http://www.etihadairways.com/etihadairways/us/en/home/home), the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is introducing a chauffeur service for first and business class passengers traveling to and from New York's JFK airport from February 2007.

All premium zone passengers traveling within a 70 mile radius of JFK, in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, will receive the complimentary luxury car service.

Josephine Boulus, the airline's U.S. manager, said, "Etihad has established a reputation for providing the very highest standards of hospitality and Etihad Chauffeur is a further example of our service quality.

"We understand that the ground experience is just as important as in the air with traveling time to and from airports often leaving passengers feeling pressured, something the chauffeur service totally removes."

Etihad has chosen Empire International (http://www.empireint.com/), one of the world's largest chauffeured transportation companies, to provide the chauffeur service within the tri-state area.

Passengers flying into JFK from Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airways will be met by an Etihad staff member or chauffeur in the arrivals area and escorted to their limo, ensuring little time is wasted at the airport.

As of March 25, 2007, Etihad Airways will institute new flight times for its Abu Dhabi - New York route. Etihad flight EY100 will depart New York at 11:10 am , arriving the next day in Abu Dhabi at 7:40 am. The return flight, EY101, departs from Abu Dhabi International Airport daily at 2:00 am arriving into JFK Airport's Terminal Four at 8:30 am the same day.
