Blacknight Slashes Domain Pricing & Introduces Asp.net AJAX

Blacknight has cut pricing on all popular domain names in a limited time offer. The Irish company also announces support for Asp.net AJAX.

Carlow (PRWeb) February 15, 2007 -- Blacknight has cut pricing on all popular domain names in a limited time offer.

Irish hosting and domain provider, Blacknight Solutions, has announced a domain sale. The sale will run from mid-February until mid-March with domain prices starting from as low as €4 per year.

Registering a new .ie domain (Ireland) through Blacknight will cost a mere €35 compared to prices as high as €100 elsewhere.

If you have an existing IE domain you can save significantly by transferring it to the Carlow based company for €30.

Pricing on both .eu domains and .co.uk domains have also been reduced, with .eu domains priced at a mere €9.99 per annum and co.uk at an all time low of €4 per year.

Commenting on the price change, Blacknight CEO Michele Neylon was excited: "Being able to pass on cost savings is wonderful. Over the past 18 months we have invested heavily in hardware, software and network upgrades. We have given our clients more disk space and more bandwidth, while adding new technologies for them to take advantage of. Giving them a price break from time to time is an added bonus!"

The company also announced support for Asp.net AJAX (http://ajax.asp.net/) on their Windows Server 2003 hosting platform. Asp.net AJAX is a development platform build on asp.net 2.0 to help developers rapidly develop powerful sites that are truly cross-browser.
