Air2Access Today Announced the Purchase of Assets Related to Coastal Wave's Marina Wi-Fi Operations in Ohio

Chicago, Illinois (PRWeb) February 15, 2007 -- Air2Access, LLC a provider of maritime communication systems today announced that it had acquired from Port Clinton, Ohio based Costal Wave, LLC select wireless network assets and business rights related to its Ohio Marina Wi-Fi operations. The addition of Coastal Wave's Lake Erie marina network expands Air2Access' footprint to over 100 marinas throughout the Great Lakes.

Wireless Internet access, also known as Wi-Fi, provides Boaters with simple, reliable access to connect to the Internet to surf, check e-mails, tunnel to a corporate VPN, or shop on-line. It provides boaters with the ultimate flexibility to access critical boating information, as well as stay connected with work, friends and family while never having to leave their boats. Marina operators can also utilize the wireless network infrastructure to improve operating efficiency and help monitor and protect their own and customer's property.

Coastal Wave will continue to focus on growing its municipal and rural fixed wireless network operations and servicing existing contracts.
