Kozak the Magician is Awarded the Esteemed 2007 Merlin Award by the International Magicians Society, the Largest Magic Organization in the World

Kozak joins previous winners Penn and Teller, David Copperfield, Siegfried and Roy and Harry Blackstone as a recipient of the most prestigious award given in the world of magic.

(PRWeb) February 17, 2007 -- Paul Kozak, aka Kozak the Magician has been awarded the coveted Merlin award for International Comic / Magician of the Year 2007. It is one of the industry's highest honors. The 2007 Merlin Award is the 2nd such honor for Kozak in the past 2 years as in 2005 he was awarded the Merlin as international entertainer of the year.

Kozak, long recognized as a world class comic magician currently wows the audiences as the host of The World's Greatest Magic Show, which is housed at the Greek Isle casino in Las Vegas. As the front man to The World's Greatest Magic Show, Kozak's award winning humor, magic and showmanship is the glue that holds the show together. Kozak is no stranger to receiving awards. His show, The World's Greatest Magic Show has twice won the "International Magic Show" of the Year in 2004 & 2005 and now again in 2007.

The Merlin award is the equal to the Oscar for movies, the Emmy for television and the Tony for theater. The voting members begin with approximately one hundred names and narrow the list down to a select few.
