FLAGS.COM Promotes Youth Art

Flags.com shows its support for Youth Art Month by announcing youth art competition.

Delray Beach, FL (PRWeb) February 26, 2007 -- Youth Art Month is an annual observance each March to promote the value of art education for all children and to encourage support for quality school art programs. We at Flags.com want to help in promoting creativity in our youth.

For over a decade Flags.com has been providing our customers with premium service and high quality flags (http://www.flags.com), flagpoles (http://www.flags.com), and banners. Because art and nationalism is inherently an important part of our business, Flags.com is offering our clients' youths a chance to express their patriotic sensibilities through art this year.

Flags.com is encouraging children twelve and under to submit their portrayal of "Patriotism" on an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper. A fifty dollar gift certificate for Toys"R"Us will be awarded to the 1st place winner in each age range. The age ranges are 5-7, 8-10, and 11-12.

The artwork should be mailed to Flags.com at 1395 NW 17th Avenue, Suite 112B in Delray Beach, FL 33445 and received by March 31, 2007. Results of the contest will be announced on our homepage, flags.com, on April 16, 2007.
