Gearing Up For The Academy Awards? Join Others as They 'Connect the Oscar Dots'

New Wikia magazine challenges fans to test their Oscar knowledge before the 79th Annual Academy Awards airs tonight on ABC

New York, NY (PRWeb) February 25, 2007 -- Wikia (http://www.wikia.com), Inc., the leading provider of community resources for building free content on every topic, today announced its new entertainment focused magazine, Entertainment.Wikia (http://entertainment.wikia.com), has created a fun and challenging way for Hollywood watchers to test their historical knowledge of the biggest event in show business.

The game, which is dubbed "Connect the Oscar Dots," challenges people to find a connection between each Best Actor winner and the previous year's winner (a la six degrees of Kevin Bacon). The list begins with Philip Seymour Hoffman, who won in 2005 for his portrayal of writer Truman Capote in the film Capote, and ends with Emil Jannings who won the first Oscar for Best Actor in 1928. With a simple click of a button contributors can add their own content to the game, using as many connections (other actors and/or films) as necessary to get from one actor to the next. "Connect the Oscar Dots" is already underway, so if you think you have what it takes, then join challenge at: http://entertainment.wikia.com/index.php?title=Connect_the_Oscar_Dots
