Resco Releases Innovative News Reader for the Palm OS Platform

Resco released an attractive news reader with strong search capabilities that is intended for ordinary mobile users with little to no technical skills.

Bratislava, Slovakia (PRWeb) February 24, 2007 -- Resco, a leading provider of end-user mobile applications, released Resco Neeews! for Palm OS - a user-friendly newsreader built specifically for mobile users.

Resco Neeews! is an innovative news reader that helps the user to find and regularly receive relevant information from various web sources. It goes as far as to provide one-tap access to the news customized to user preferences.

Resco Neeews! can access information flowing from CNN, BBC, NY Times, Google News, Flickr and hundreds of predefined high quality feeds and millions of blogs and feeds of user choice.

Resco Neeews! builds on familiar newspaper analogy. People can use a number of ways to create their newspapers - ranging from a simple selection up to the web searches or queries to the premium services. Resulting newspaper can be set up to update regularly and added to the Palm Launcher.

Unlike typical RSS readers the product requires minimum technical skills and demonstrates how easy can the relevant information land on mobile devices.

"It's hard to understand why such a powerful concept - RSS - is popularized in a way that distracts ordinary users", said Jan Slodicka, director of Resco Palm Division.

"We knew that a successful reader must offer an easy access to relevant information, and it must do it nicely, without requiring any technical skills. Looks like Resco Neeews! might have these characteristics."
