Website Launches at OneLeftClick.com to Provide Internet Favorites Home Page Solution When the creators of OneLeftClick.com scoured the internet for a helpful website that would allow them to organize their favorite links, their search came up short. The websites they did find were either too basic or too complex for their needs. Seeing their failed search as an opportunity, they quickly got to work developing a user-friendly site that would accomplish just that. Now in its infancy, OneLeftClick.com is already working overtime to help internet users develop personalized, simplified and organized home pages for more efficient internet favorites navigation. (PRWeb) February 27, 2007 -- Richard Brooks and Phil Hayward were everyday internet users whose online bookmark folders were bursting at their digital seams. With so many frequently visited websites to keep track of, they were finding the traditional web browser favorites functionality to be inefficient and awkward. That's why they searched the internet high and low in 2006 to find a suitable home page solution - a website that would allow them to build their own online favorites catalog (http://www.oneleftclick.com) and manage it as their home page. But after several days, when they hadn't found one, they did the industrious thing. They built their own.
In late 2006, their new company One Left Click was launched online at OneLeftClick.com (http://www.oneleftclick.com). Brooks and Hayward applied specific attention towards making sure the site would be simple to use. One Left Click allows users to link to pre-configured popular websites and customize their own tags or website categories just as in the favorites folders of their browser, but they will be more visible, portable and accessible as a home page. Users can also select their preferred search engines, which can be accessed at the top of their personalized home page.
Other key features of One Left Click include the ability to share links with friends and family and to automatically import internet favorites from the Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox browsers. The result is what Brooks believes to be the best home page solution online.
"Our advantage is that we provide a simple to use and manage home page that interfaces to your favorite websites," he adds. "Our goal is to build One Left Click into the most recognized and popular home page available on the internet."
Registering online with One Left Click is free and users can immediately begin importing or adding links to build their favorites catalog. Visitors to the site can preview a page of the OneLeftClick.com layout before registering and creating their customized home page.
A membership rewards program encourages OneLeftClick.com visitors to register and set the site as their default home page. Each month, a number of members are randomly selected to win a monthly prize. Previous prizes have included Apple iPods and Apple iTunes gift cards and future prizes may include CDs, T-shirts, travel vouchers and electronic goods.
