Los Angeles, CA (PRWeb) March 1, 2007 -- ToonBreak.com (http://www.toonbreak.com) is a new animation video portal that shares revenue with animators. The brainchild of independent animator Shawn McInerney, ToonBreak is unique in that provides multiple tools for animators to generate revenue. Animators can earn money through video ads, text ads, merchandising, and donations. All of this is currently done through third party systems such as Revver, Google Adsense, PayPal Donations, and links to the animators' online stores. ToonBreak's deal is non-exclusive, and does not seek rights beyond those needed to show and generate revenue from the videos.
"I created ToonBreak to provide what I have been looking for as an animator -- an opportunity to put my cartoons in front of cartoon fans, maintain my copyrights, and generate income through as many streams as possible," says McInerney.
Since ToonBreak is dedicated to legally uploaded cartoons, animators' videos do not compete with other genres or copyright infringing clips from movies and TV. In a nutshell, ToonBreak provides targeted, monetized web traffic -- something which has been difficult for independent animators to achieve on their own.
