The decision to relaunch the publication in e-mail format came after an inundation of regulatory news over the past several weeks, Mr. Fakler said.

"We just want to provide an interactive forum that allows the general public some voice on the issues. With the subprime mortgage debacle and Sarbox revisited by regulators, all heck seems to be breaking lose, compliance-wise."

RegReports, an online portal of regulatory compliance information was launched in February by Media Logistics LLC, a South Florida-based media relations consultant.

The RegReports web site resells government reports geared to several important industry sectors, including securities, banking, finance, insurance, technology, telecom, real estate, manufacturing and energy.
