SWD Urethane recently announced the approval of Quik-Shield 106 1/2 lb insulation formula for use in Canada. The approval for Canadian use comes from the NRC-CCMC (National Research Council - Canadian Construction Materials Centre). The approval clears the way for sale and use of Quik-Shield 106 insulation foam in Canada.

SWD Urethane recently announced the approval of Quik-Shield 106 1/2 lb insulation formula for use in Canada. The approval for Canadian use comes from the NRC-CCMC (National Research Council - Canadian Construction Materials Centre) and clears the way for sale and use of Quik-Shield 106 insulation foam in Canada. The product approval number from the CCMC is 13390-R .
Quik-Shield 106, which has been available in the United States for years, delivers an industry leading 1” aged R-value at 4.01. It also delivers a smooth flowing formula, with less odor and fewer gun clogs than other 1/2 lb foams. Additionally in Canadian VOC testing, the 106 product was deemed safe for habitation after only 12 hours (1/2 the legal requirement for 24 hours).
