What's New in Upcoming Release of Bitrix Site Manager (CMS) 6.0?

Bitrix, Inc. is happy to announce that development of the new Bitrix Site Manager v6.0 has reached its final stage.

Alexandria, VA (PRWeb) March 30, 2007 -- Bitrix, Inc. is happy to announce that development of the new Bitrix Site Manager v6.0 has reached its final stage.

A new distribution package is being assembled; security and performance testing is in process; Components 2.0 are ready to be released.

Virtually, all the components of the old distribution package have been changed, new components created, complex components added.

"Complex component" is a new term that appeared in the v6.0. Pay special attention to these amazing features. The complex component is a combination of components that simplifies usage of multifunctional applications, such as forums, catalogs, polls and surveys, web forms and other web applications for unprepared users. They give ordinary users the ability to work with complex functionality. For example, you simply put one complex component "Catalog" on a page in visual mode and you get a full multi-page catalog.

Moreover, components allow users to separate site logics and templates. They support PHP, Smarty, XSLT, FastTemplate and any other template engines chosen by a web developer.

All the complex components support SEF URL through a single management tool included in Bitrix Site Manager (http://www.bitrixsoft.com/sitemanager/?r1=prweb&r2=new6.0) v6.0. The abilities provided by the complex components move Internet project management to a new level.

The visual editor updates will be released in the near future. A lot of new parameter settings have been added. They are divided into the following groups:

-    performance templates (an unlimited number)

-    web page addresses management

-    data sources

-    additional settings

-    appearance

Individual settings for each user -- panel placement, chosen modes and parameters have been added in the visual mode.

All of the new tools are available in the beta version through the SiteUpdate system.
